Conclusion

Prior to giving the true meaning of the Vedas, we had said that they are nothing but a living proof of God’s claim in Quran, which says:
No misfortune strikes the earth nor your selves unless it has been written in a book before We bring it into existence; that it is easy for God. (Quran: LVII, 22)
We are sure that now you are in a better position to understand what we were trying to convey.
God gave us books that we regard as sacred. But unless we identify the missing links, that are so vital for our comprehension of God’s intended meaning, we would continue to grope in dark, and never reach the true path that would lead us to salvation. Betterment of life in this world as well as the next is dependent on identifying this very factor and then putting the lessons learnt, to practice.
There is one and only one path to reach one and only one Absolute God, and this entire earth and the creatures that dwell, are manifestations of His Supreme Power. All, yes all the religions of the world, and including the believers of all the sects that these religions comprise, are digressed from the path shown by God.
At all times, the path shown by God was one and the same. He had created the devas or Ahlebayts as His Manifest form. Pleased with their worship, He created all things through the light or noor that was theirs. It was but natural that these Manifest forms of God, who were the most intense worshippers of God, took upon themselves the task of leading all creatures to God to His worship. Later, when need arose, it were they who were to take birth on earth as Divine Proofs and Torchbearers of the Right Path for all creatures on earth.
This practice was adopted because it was beyond His virtue of being ‘Just’, that the human beings were left on their own after creation. Just as the parents teach their child about the good and bad things of life, God too did the same.
On the whole, the teachings grew in the manner a child’s education progresses in school. Modern teaching procedure entails that a child is made to identify alphabets through the help of pictures. Likewise, the Divine Proofs or the utmost symbol of God’s teachings being put to practice, were identified through Vedas among the Indo-Aryans. The same procedure was followed in other great civilizations of the period, including Mesopotamia, Greece, China and Egypt. This is evident from similar myths that are found at almost all these places. Unfortunately, man took to worshipping these devas as gods, be it in Mesopotamia, be it in Greece or in Egypt or India.
Just as the knowledge of alphabets lead to words and sentences, the Messengers of later period, proceeded with higher teaching as regards to social ethics and worship of God. With art of reading and writing not developed till then, rituals were initiated to ensure that the teachings are not forgotten. Also, these rituals were appealing to the common illiterate men and served the purpose of drawing them to religious worship. At all times, though, the true worship was always between man and God, through the path shown by these devas, and without any interference from any outside element, including the priest.
Yet, deviations occurred in various directions. Sometimes rituals that were introduced with the purpose of drawing people towards religion and worship became religion in itself. Therefore, when the messengers stressed on this, people digressed to the other end, whereby they left the social life and started living in forests. When that form of sanyasa was condemned, they interpreted that it meant ritualistic life was being permitted. This must not have been the universal phenomenon though, and there must have been always people who remained on the true path as well as people who were too engrossed in making a living or engrossed in the charms of the world that they never bothered to care.
Teachings kept growing with succeeding messengers and they slowly began to cover loftier subjects and began to frame rules for the society. Yet, all these messengers from God continued to identify about that future time, when the Divine Spirit would arrive at a secret place on earth. Be it Krishna, Yajnavalkya or Rama or be it Moses, Socrates, Buddha or Jesus, we have shown how all identified their importance.
If they did not talk about devatas so vigorously as Vedas seem to be doing, it was because people were already aware of them from previous knowledge. If no teacher in class VII or VIII talks about A,B,C and D, that does not mean that the importance of the alphabets has diminished. The core of the complex sentences that the student is taught at a later stage always remains those alphabets that he is taught in the beginning. Without these alphabets, no sentences can ever by framed.
Though the teachings continued to grow, none of these messengers ever claimed that he was the Messenger for the entire world. Even Jesus, who came only about 500-600 years prior to the Prophet Mohammad, maintained that he was the Messenger for Bani Israel.
It was only Prophet Mohammad, who was identified as Prophet for all the worlds. ‘Worlds’ could be interpreted to mean existence of life on other planets in this universe. All scholars, as per our knowledge, have maintained the same view. Also, ‘worlds’ could also be used for prophets among jinns or animals. This view has emanated from our study of Buddhist scriptures, which states Buddha taking birth even among animals like deer, and gives the total number of births as 84,000. Muslims are of the opinion that 1,24,000 messengers were sent. There is no duality as it is possible that till the time of Buddha the number was 84,000, which rose to 1,24,000 till the time of Prophet Mohammad, when this process was put to end. Prophet Mohammad was the last of the Prophets of God and one who was the Prophet for all worlds. It was owing to this high position, that all the previous prophets were trying to identify those who together comprise the Divine Self or Spirit.
There is another reason why the devas were identified right at the beginning. If the teacher knows that the student’s aim is to become an expert on management, he would so devise the curriculum that it culminates in teachings that are most suited for entrance into one of the IIMs. If the teacher knows that student’s aim is to become a physician, he would perhaps not include Einstein’s theory of relativity and focus more on subjects related to botany and zoology. Likewise, if the student wishes to migrate to the USA, he would choose those who would facilitate him in the process and also enable him to pass the competitive exams made essential for migration to USA.
In the same manner, all Prophets were the teachers of dharma or religion of God and not of the religion that we made it out to be. They knew that the final goal of their teachings was salvation and henceforth it was essential that they identify the institutions that were most suited to lead us to salvation. Therefore, the devas were identified as torchbearers for later generations and it was never meant that man should start worshipping them. Once the institutions that showed the best way to salvation were identified, the teachings commenced.
Shaytan (Satan) too was playing its games and his attempt always was to corrupt the teachings and deviate us from the true path. Man’s nature was such that the material temptations that this world had to offer easily swayed him. Satan might have succeeded all through history had devas not been working ceaselessly, guiding us towards the right path leading to the worship of God. They have given a lot many sacrifices in their attempt to lead us to One God. Eventually, it is they who are going to succeed.
God has now decided that enough is enough. What he had desired the world to be and what we have made it out to be? Sins, evil, corruption, and violence – the world is full of them. Now the God has decided to give one last chance to man. He has allowed the man to deviate too far. He sinned, but God kept watching. He corrupted His teachings, but there was no wrath from God. He filled the world with violence and corruption, and God was silent. What’s worse, he killed 13 of the 14 devas that comprised Divine Spirit. No more! One last time, God will show the right path to man before this chapter of world is put to close. If man obeys, there are rewards waiting for him. If he still not sees the truth, God is not going to confine his wrath for the next world, anymore!
